Copy & Paste / Knit & Wear - Textile Art
Tel Aviv, Geneva
These art-to-wear pieces were developed over several years, beginning during my textile design studies at Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art in Israel, and continuing to evolve through my current practice in Geneva. This ongoing timeline reflects a sustained exploration of material, process, and transformation, where each stage of my journey has contributed to the work’s layered and evolving nature.

My art-to-wear projects explore a process of continuous transformation through constructing, deconstructing, and reassembling textiles. The fabrics themselves are often created, altered, or manipulated by hand, allowing each material to carry its own texture, history, and intention before becoming part of a larger composition.
Inspired by the idea of a work in progress, these pieces embrace incompletion. Visible seams, layered fragments, and shifting structures remain present, highlighting the act of making rather than concealing it. The process becomes as important as the final form.
Working in a way similar to collage, I combine different textile elements into garments that balance cohesion and fragmentation. Each piece exists between stability and change—blurring the line between clothing and artwork, and remaining open, evolving, and unresolved.
